I appreciate your comments and concerns about the signal at the intersection of SH 110 and FM 346 in Whitehouse. Your inquiry was forwarded to us by the City of Whitehouse. You are correct in your assessment of the signal. It is currently operating in fixed time mode as the vehicle loop detectors that were placed in the pavement have been damaged and do not function properly. The signal will remain in this mode until the construction of the widening of FM 346 begins in the next few months. At that point in time, a temporary signal will be placed at the intersection.
