The Tyler Jaycees has announced the following winners in its “Bright Lights” contest:
Best lights residential: 1st, 405 Shelly, Whitehouse; 2nd, 203 Acker Tap, Whitehouse; 3rd, 7302 Whiteforest Cove, Tyler.
Best neighborhood: Habitat Circle.
Most Creative Display: 1500 Royal Oak Drive.
Organizers said awards were not given in the business categories because of a lack of entries.

Whitehouse’s Courtney McFarlin was named Outstanding Defensive Player of District 17-4A volleyball, the league’s coaches announced.
