Thanks Boy Scout Troop 359
Extend my sincere thanks to Boy Scout Troop 359 leaders in Whitehouse. Especially Charles Parker, Earl Drott and Mark Parsons for their hard work and dedication to making the scouts the best it can be.
These leaders spend hours of their personal time teaching, testing, supervising, advising, and when necessary, disciplining the scouts in their troop.
Scouting is more than just spending time in the woods and sleeping in a tent. Scouting is learning responsibility and teamwork. Scouting is also learning to cook, clean, build a fire (safely), handle a knife or firearm, tie a hundred different knots, climb a rock and repel it, catch and clean a fish, survive in a snowstorm or flood, administer first aid. The list goes on and on. Scouting is all about being a boy while preparing to become an adult.
It is a pleasure to be associated with such fine adult leaders and scouts as we have in Troop 359.
