Great Job Band and Drill Team.
I am amazed at all the groups that work so well together to make high school football on Friday nights so exciting.
I am currently entering my 27th year of coaching in high school in Texas. 19 of those years have been at Whitehouse.
I realized years ago that there were things just as important extra-curricular wise as basketball or other athletic events.
It makes me proud to be at a school that has an award winning band of nearly 250 members. A drill team that has won national honors, and how well the two work together and what a first class show they put on. Yes, I am a drill team dad, and I am sure many other parents were as proud as I was of those two groups in Palestine the other night.
My hat is off to Denny Whitley, Director of the Whitehouse Wildcat Band, and Shelley Johnson, Director of our First Ladies Drill Team.
In case you haven�t noticed, these two organizations are as good as it gets!
